DreamCatcher’s Yoohyeon and D1CE’s Jung Yoo Jun shared their thoughts on their special appearance in “Backstreet Rookie”!

The two idols made a fun cameo in the August 7 episode of the SBS drama, where they played a couple who was exceptionally skilled at a dance arcade game. Not only did viewers get a chance to see Yoohyeon and Jung Yoo Jun show off their moves, but the drama added an extra wink to the cameo by having the pair specifically dance to DreamCatcher’s debut track “Chase Me.”

In the episode, Hwang Geum Bi (played by Seo Ye Hwa) and Han Dal Shik (played by Eum Moon Suk) attempted to beat the Yoohyeon-Yoo Jun power couple at their own game, but were thwarted by an unfortunate fall towards the end of their dance routine.

After the broadcast, Yoohyeon took to DreamCatcher’s official Twitter account to write, “Chase Me! Raise your hand if you found Yoohyeon in the drama ‘Backstreet Rookie.’ Yay, you did a great job!”

Sharing a photo of herself and Jung Yoo Jun from the day of their shoot, she added, “Thank you to actors Eum Moon Suk, Seo Ye Hwa, and D1CE’s Jung Yoo Jun, with whom I enjoyed filming!”

Jung Yoo Jun also posted the same photo on D1CE’s Twitter account and similarly shared his thoughts. He wrote, “Did you enjoy watching ‘Backstreet Rookie’? I danced ‘Chase Me’ with DreamCatcher’s Yoohyeon, and I think it was a really great experience! Thank you to all of the cast and crew who worked hard together with us during filming!”

He continued, “I will become a Yoo Jun who works hard in every direction in the future as well. I love you.”
