WM Entertainment Issues Warning After Excessive Invasions Of ONF's Privacy

On August 10, WM Entertainment issued a response on ONF’s official fan café following excessive violations of the group’s privacy.

The statement reads:

Hello, this is WM Entertainment.

Despite the fact that we specifically banned the attendance of non-public events in the recently-released fan club etiquette guidelines, a shameful thing occurred at the ‘SPIN-OFF’ comeback showcase that was held through V Live.

Some people trespassed into the event space and the waiting room, illegally filmed the non-public rehearsal as well as the event, illegally acquired internal confidential documents, consumed the food that had been catered for the artists and staff without permission, and hid in the bathroom. This kind of behavior created friction with the personal security team and obstructed the smooth running of the event.

In particular, those who trespassed in the waiting room for a significant period of time disrupted the artists’ movements as they were preparing for the event and caused them significant discomfort.

Due to internal guidelines about events during the COVID-19 pandemic, all the related staff were wearing masks. We apologize that this made it difficult to block these people, and we as an agency will redouble our efforts to prevent this situation in future.

ONF had just made a comeback with the album “SPIN-OFF” and title track “Sukhumvit Swimming” on August 10.
