SM Entertainment Confirms Wendy's Partial Return To Red Velvet's Activities Following Hiatus

Red Velvet’s Wendy is almost fully recovered!

On August 19, Red Velvet’s teaser photos for their cover of BoA’s “Milky Way” were revealed, and fans were overjoyed to see Wendy in the photos, as she has been on hiatus following an injury in December.

Later in the day, a source from SM Entertainment confirmed Wendy’s return, stating, “She has recovered significantly, and she will participate in Red Velvet’s promotional activities in ways that are not too strenuous for her.”

Red Velvet’s “Milky Way” cover will be released on August 21 at 6 p.m. KST as part of the “Our Beloved BoA” project celebrating BoA’s 20th debut anniversary.
