Watch: "Running Man" Cast Attempt A Heist With Real Police On Their Trail In New Preview

SBS’s “Running Man” has stepped it up and invited some real experts to catch the “criminals” on the show!

In the preview for next week’s episode, the “Running Man” cast tries their hand again at the heist mystery race that they did for their 10th anniversary special. During the 10th anniversary special, the cast was unsuccessful in catching the thieves, Lee Kwang Soo and Yang Se Chan, and they got away with the loot.

In the preview clip, “Running Man” is holding a joint birthday party for Yoo Jae Suk (August 14), HaHa (August 20), and Song Ji Hyo (August 15) when they’re informed that someone is attempting a “copycat crime.” A copycat crime is when a different criminal attempts a similar type of crime as someone else, which in this case is the heist. This time, the thieves are after jewels.

Like before, the cast members divvy up their roles, but in a new twist, the show invited a real criminal profiler and police detective on the show to catch the “criminals.” Pyo Chang Won is a first-generation profiler and one of the first criminal profilers in Korea. Yoon Seok Ho is a detective on whom a character in the hit movie “The Outlaws” was based.
