NCT has shared a glimpse of two songs in the upcoming album “RESONANCE Pt. 1”!

The first song is “Light Bulb,” which was sung by Taeyong, Doyoung, Kun, and Sungchan. It is an attractive R&B hip hop song that blends together emotional voices and acoustic sound, and the lyrics express the feelings of a couple who can’t break up and constantly turn their feelings on and off for each other.

“Faded in My Last Song” was sung by Taeil, Johnny, Yuta, Ten, Lucas, Renjun, Haechan, and Jisung. It is also an R&B hip hop song, and the meaningful lyrics use the piano as an object to portray the sad moment when one performs a song for their lover for the last time.

NCT has released more details about the song distribution on the upcoming album.

The lineups for the double title tracks, “Make A Wish (Birthday Song)” and “From Home,” have already been announced, as well as the lineup for b-side track “Volcano.”

On the B-side track “Misfit,” which is a pop track that channels early 90s hip hop vibes and talks about breaking free into a new generation, Johnny, Taeyong, Mark, Hendery, Jeno, Yangyang, and Sungchan will feature.

On the B-side track “Dancing in the Rain,” which is an R&B/hip hop track that features elements of jazz, electric guitar, warm keyboard, groovy drums, and lyrics about being happy with a lover even in the rain, Taeil, Johnny, Yuta, Kun, Jaehyun, Jungwoo, Xiaojun, and Chenle will feature.

NCT 2020 will begin with “RESONANCE Pt. 1” in October, followed by Part 2 in November.

More information on NCT’s upcoming album “RESONANCE Pt. 1” has been shared!

SM Entertainment revealed that “Make A Wish (Birthday Song),” sung by Taeyong, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Jaemin, Lucas, Xiaojun, and Shotaro, will be the title track of the album. It is a dance pop track with a hip hop beat and an addicting whistling sound. The lyrics are about always believing that they are all connected and making a wish so that their dreams can come true. An English version of the song will be released digitally as a bonus track.

“From Home,” sung by Taeil, Doyoung, Kun, Haechan, Yuta, Renjun, and Chenle, is a slow R&B pop ballad with lyrics in Korean, Chinese, and Japanese. The lyrics tell the story of the NCT members coming together with the dream of becoming a singer, being trustworthy friends and family to one another, and following their dreams together. A Korean version of the track will also be included in the album.

Another track to look forward to is “Volcano,” which is sung by the members of “BOSS” from “NCT 2018.” They are Taeyong, Jaehyun, WinWin, Mark, Doyoung, Jungwoo, and Lucas. “Volcano” is a hip hop dance track that invites everyone to follow their burning passion.

NCT’s “THE FUTURE” teaser has been released for their album “RESONANCE Pt.1”!

SM Entertainment has revealed more details on NCT’s second album “NCT 2020: RESONANCE Pt. 1”!

The album will include double title tracks “Make A Wish,” sung by Taeyong, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Jaemin, Lucas, Xiaojun, and Shotaro, and “From Home,” sung by Taeil, Doyoung, Kun, Haechan, Yuta, Renjun, and Chenle. Various tracks from different NCT U unit combinations will also be included as well as songs from NCT 127, NCT Dream, and WayV. The album will contain a total of 12 tracks, and a bonus song will be released digitally only.

Accordingly to a report from SPO TV, Part 2 of the album, which is slated for release in November, will contain double title tracks as well. One track will reportedly be sung by members Ten, WinWin, Mark, YangYang, Jeno, Haechan, and Sungchan, and the other with Johnny, Yuta, Ten, Jungwoo, Hendery, Jaemin, and Jisung.

NCT held their first 23-member V Live broadcast on September 23 and gathered over 12.5 million viewers.

“NCT 2020: RESONANCE Pt. 1” will be released worldwide on October 12 at 6 p.m. KST.

NCT has revealed a release timeline and more information about their upcoming full-group album!

SM Entertainment announced that NCT 2020 will include the 21 members of NCT 127, NCT Dream, and WayV, along with two new members Shotaro and Sungchan who will be joining a new NCT team that will be launched in the future. Through NCT U, the 23 members will team up in various combinations and pull off diverse concepts.

The NCT 2020 project will consist of two parts. The full album “NCT 2020: RESONANCE Pt. 1” is slated for release on October 12, and “NCT 2020: RESONANCE Pt. 2” will be released after that.

Taking their message of “empathy” from their 2018 album “EMPATHY” even further, “RESONANCE” conveys the meaning of connecting with others through music and creating great synergy and impact. The album will continue the story of NCT’s universe in which they empathize with one another through dreams and become one through music.

“NCT 2020: RESONANCE Pt. 1” will include a total of 12 songs including double title tracks “Make A Wish” and “From Home.” The album is available for pre-orders starting September 21.

NCT 2020 is gearing up for its new release!

Earlier this month, SM Entertainment confirmed that NCT was preparing for the release of a new album. Like NCT 2018, NCT 2020 is a large-scale project that involves all the members of NCT in one album.

On September 21 at midnight KST, NCT’s official Twitter account and all affiliated unit accounts shared a teaser for their upcoming project titled “Resonance.” The teaser “Interlude: Resonance” is a montage of several past releases from the NCT units combined into an epic highlight clip. The first teaser, “Resonance,” shows the new logo for the release.
