Watch: Kwon Sang Woo And Bae Sung Woo Team Up As Lawyer And Journalist In Teasers For Upcoming SBS Drama
The new Friday-Saturday drama is about two men representing victims who are falsely accused. Kwon Sang Woo will play Park Tae Yong, a public defender with only a high school diploma, and Bae Sung Woo will be the unsophisticated but talented journalist Park Sam Soo, who has a knack for writing. Director Kwak Jung Hwan, whose previous works include the dramas “Miss Hammurabi” and “Chief of Staff,” has joined writer Park Sang Gyu for the new SBS drama.
The cast of “Delayed Justice” also includes Kim Joo Hyun, Jung Woong In, Lee Won Jong, Park Ji Il, Ahn Shi Ha, Kim Hye Hwa, Cha Soon Bae, and Sa Hyun Jin. Kim Eung Soo, Jo Sung Ha, and Kim Kap Soo will be making special appearances.
On October 5, SBS unveiled new teasers for Kwon Sang Woo’s and Bae Sung Woo’s characters, who show off great chemistry as teammates rewriting the history of the Korean judicial system.
In the first teaser, Park Tae Yong, as someone who can’t stand injustice, says with determination, “I’ll do my best, so please trust me.” He then ends up winning the case and declares, “A train has become a dragon and rose to the sky. I’ve gotten this far believing in that conception dream.”
However, Park Tae Yong’s sense of justice and short temper can become a problem. He warns someone, “You guys are all dead to me,” but in the end, he grows less confident when he’s asked, “What should we do?” Burying his face in his hands, Park Tae Yong says, “I don’t know either.”
The next teaser gives a closer look at Park Sam Soo, who introduces himself as a history major from a university that is not as prestigious as expected. Although he’s struggling now as a journalist, his writing skills are still impressive, and he tells a junior reporter, “Watch the things you can’t see, and listen to the things you can’t hear. That’s what’s real.”
Park Sam Soo, who only chased after stories that would make him money, then says, “In a world where money is justice, let’s make money through justice.” Viewers are looking forward to seeing how things will change when Park Sam Soo meets Park Tae Yong.
“Delayed Justice” premieres on October 30 at 10 p.m. KST following the conclusion of “Alice.”
