Marriage and Divorce)” will be screenwriter Im Sung Han’s first drama in five years.
Sung Hoon was previously confirmed to join Im Sung Han’s new drama after starring in the screenwriter’s “New Tales of Gisaeng” as the male lead. In the upcoming drama, Sung Hoon will play the lawyer Pan Sa Hyun, who fell in love with his wife Boo Hye Ryung (played by Lee Ga Ryung) after seeing her play the drums. The couple has been married for three years and don’t have any children.
“Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce)” marks Lee Ga Ryung’s first leading role, and her character Boo Hye Rung is a radio DJ who was once a news reporter.
Meanwhile, Lee Tae Gon will be Shin Yoo Shin, the sweet husband of Sa Pi Young (played by Park Joo Mi) and the director of a hospital’s neuropsychiatry department. Sa Pi Young is a producing director for the radio show, and she always does her best to take care of her home, children, and husband.

Jun Soo Kyung will take on the role of Lee Si Eun, the radio show’s main writer and the wife of Park Hae Ryoon (played by Jeon No Min). The two have been married for 30 years, and Lee Si Eun has given all her attention to her husband and children.
Park Hae Ryoon is the dean of the department of theater and film at Sun Jin University, and he became a professor thanks to the support of Lee Si Eun.
The drama’s production team commented, “The experienced actors — Sung Hoon, Lee Tae Gon, Park Joo Mi, Lee Ga Ryung, Lee Min Young, Jun Soo Kyung, and Jeon No Min — will create excellent synergy by working together with new faces.”
They added, “Please look forward to the story of married couples written by Im Sung Han, who’s returned after five years, as well as how the drama will contain Im Sung Han’s uniquely straightforward lines and immersive narration.”
