Shakira Shows Love For BLACKPINK’s Rosé’s Cover Of “Waka Waka”

BLACKPINK’s Rosé caught the eye of Latin music legend Shakira!

On the October 18 episode of JTBC’s “Ask Us Anything,” Rosé performed a brief cover of Shakira’s 2010 hit “Waka Waka (This Time for Africa),” which was the official song of the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

Even though Rosé only sang a snippet of the song, Shakira took notice of her cover and shared the clip on several of her social media accounts, including Twitter and Instagram. She wrote in the caption, “Oh wow! I loved seeing you do that! Super cute! Thanks Rosé,” before adorably adding, “P.S. Love your hair!”

Shakira’s enthusiastic posts thrilled tons of fans, many of whom are now clamoring for a collaboration between the two artists.
