BTS And Stray Kids Win Awards At 2020 MTV EMAs Including Best Song And Best Group

BTS and Stray Kids both took home awards at the 2020 MTV EMAs!

On November 8 local time, MTV held its annual Europe Music Awards, which was broadcast from multiple cities this year instead of the usual physical ceremony in one city.

BTS emerged the big winner of the night, snagging a total of four awards after being nominated in five categories this year. The group won Best Song with their smash hit “Dynamite,” beating out stiff competition from DaBaby’s “Rockstar” featuring Roddy Ricch, Dua Lipa’s “Don’t Start Now,” Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande’s “Rain On Me,” Roddy Ricch’s “The Box,” and The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights.”

BTS also won Best Group for the third consecutive year, beating out fellow nominees 5 Seconds of Summer, BLACKPINK, Chloe x Halle, CNCO, and Little Mix—as well as the award for Best Virtual Live, which they won for their online concert “BANG BANG CON: The Live.” Additionally, BTS claimed the Biggest Fans award for the third year in a row.

Meanwhile, Stray Kids took home the award for Best Korean Act after being nominated alongside ASTRO, EVERGLOW, KARD, and VICTON.
