Kim Ji Hoon Apologizes After He Was Spotted Watching An Illegally Downloaded TV Show
Through his agency, Big Picture Entertainment, he said, “Hello, this is Kim Ji Hoon. First, I’m sorry for causing viewers discomfort through the November 6 episode of MBC’s ‘Home Alone.’ I am deeply sorry for behaving in a way that did not respect copyright despite the fact that I am an actor. I will work harder to become an actor who is more careful about his actions. Once again, I apologize for causing discomfort.”
The November 6 episode of “Home Alone” featured Kim Ji Hoon watching the American TV show “Raised by Wolves.” This show is an original series that airs exclusively on the streaming service HBO Max. As HBO Max is not available in South Korea, there is currently no legal way to stream the show in South Korea. In addition, the version that Kim Ji Hoon was watching had Korean subtitles, increasing suspicion that it was an illegal download.
A source from “Home Alone” stated that the show would remove all footage of Kim Ji Hoon watching the show from reruns and VOD and be more careful about observing cast members’ behavior while filming.
“Home Alone” is available to watch on Viki:
