tvN’s upcoming drama “True Beauty” has shared an exciting new teaser!

Based on the hit webtoon of the same name, “True Beauty” is a romantic comedy about two people who learn to overcome their insecurities and find confidence after sharing their secrets with one another. Moon Ga Young will star as Lim Ju Gyeong, who zealously uses makeup to hide her bare face and combat her insecurities about her looks. ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo will star as Lee Su Ho, a popular student with his own emotional wounds, while Hwang In Yeop will play Han Seo Jun, an untamable rebel with a surprisingly warm heart.

The newly released clip begins by introducing the two “gods” of Lim Ju Gyeong’s high school: the “cold, aloof, and handsome Su Ho” and the “wild stallion Seo Jun,” both of whom cause flocks of schoolgirls to swoon wherever they go.

After running into both male students outside of school, Lim Ju Gyeong unhappily exclaims, “He goes to our school?!” and “How can there be this kind of unimaginable coincidence?!” Worried that the “secret” of her bare face will be exposed, she unhappily leans against a bathroom stall and declares, “I’m done for.”

As the caption teases a “refreshing and comic romance,” Lim Ju Gyeong finds herself getting increasingly entangled with both Lee Su Ho and Han Seo Jun, with the former giving her a piggyback ride and asking, “How much longer are you going to pretend it isn’t true?” Meanwhile, Han Seo Jun takes a photo of Lim Ju Gyeong with a face mask while exclaiming, “This is amazing.”

Despite nearly getting run over by a motorcycle, Lim Ju Gyeong appears to be determined to protect her secret at all costs, and she ends the teaser by complaining, “Why is my life such a pile of dog poop?”

“True Beauty” premieres on December 9 at 10:30 p.m. KST and will be available with subtitles on Viki. In the meantime, check out the new teaser below!
