Watch: MONSTA X Shows Their Everyday Dorm Lives And Endless Love Of Food

MONSTA X appeared on the latest episode of MBC’s “The Manager”!

MONSTA X’s two managers Park Joon Hyung and Seo Deok Joon introduced themselves and explained that Shownu, Joohoney, and Hyungwon share one dorm, while Kihyun, Minhyuk, and I.M live in another. The managers also revealed, “The members get sensitive and aggressive when they’re not given food.”

MONSTA X’s footage began with a normal morning at the first dorm. Shownu woke up from his bed and started stretching, and in his own room, Joohoney did push-ups right after he got out of bed. The two then met in the living room and discussed what to eat for breakfast. Joohoney headed to the kitchen to cook some beef and also made bibimbap. On top of that, they even ordered jokbal (pig’s trotters) and completed their heavy meat-based breakfast. Manager Park Joon Hyung shared that MONSTA X enjoys eating meat at any time for any meal.

They turned on the TV to watch “Music Core,” and their agency juniors WJSN CHOCOME’s performance of “Hmph!” came on. The three members persuaded Manager Seo Deok Joon, who lives with them, to dance to the song, and they all got up to do the dance together.

Over at Kihyun, Minhyuk, and I.M’s dorm, the members also had beef for breakfast, but the topics they talked about were vastly different from the previous dorm’s. They watched the news together and started talking about science and politics, which made Joohoney, who was watching their footage from the studio, wonder why they would talk about such things over breakfast.

The episode also revealed footage of Joohoney, Hyungwon, and their two managers playing screen baseball; Shownu exercising in his personal studio; and Minhyuk and Kihyun enjoying their respective hobbies of customizing items and raising plants.

“The Manager” also went behind the scenes of MONSTA X’s “Music Core” stage. Backstage, Joohoney’s friend WINNER’s Song Mino paid the group a visit, and Joohoney got him to do their “Love Killa” challenge for TikTok.

For lunch, the group had chicken inside their waiting room. Shownu decided to wait until after their performance to eat because he wanted to keep his abs as defined as possible for his revealing stage outfit. The members and the panelists at the studio were all amazed by his discipline. Once their performance was over, Shownu sat down to eat to his heart’s content.
