Watch: Cast Of “Live On” Have Fun Filming Dodgeball Scene
JTBC’s “Live On” has released another behind-the-scenes look at the drama!
“Live On” is a romance drama set in the broadcasting club of Seo Yeon High School. Jung Da Bin plays Baek Ho Rang, the school celebrity and social media influencer who enters the club with suspicious motives, while NU’EST’s Minhyun plays Go Eun Taek, the head of the club who is strict and a perfectionist.
The video opens with the main cast preparing to film a game of dodgeball in the school gymnasium. VICTON’s Byungchan excitedly dances while he sits on the stage, and he jokes that he is the director of a group consisting of him, Jung Da Bin, and Yeonwoo. Byungchan and Yeonwoo begin a coordinated dance together, but Jung Da Bin laughs, “I’m so embarrassed, I can’t do it.” Byungchan then jokes, “We’re kicking Jung Da Bin out of the group.”
While waiting on the court, Jung Da Bin and Minhyun show off their purple gym clothes. Jung Da Bin explains that she got to choose between purple and sky blue for the uniform color, and Minhyun tells her she made the right choice. Yang Hye Ji and Noh Jong Hyun begin to show off for the camera, and Yang Hye Ji teases Byungchan as she says, “I can’t believe an idol is ignoring the camera.” In response, Byungchan leaps to his feet and begins to dance to NCT 127’s “Kick It.”
After rehearsing the scene, Byungchan takes the camera to film the other cast members. Yang Hye Ji politely explains the scene to the camera and also shares how excited she is to film together with all of the other cast members for the first time. Next up, Byungchan interviews Minhyun, but Jung Da Bin and Yang Hye Ji tease him by making faces behind his back. The camera is then turned on Byungchan, who acts cute as he pretends to not know why he’s called “baby chick” on set.
The actors get serious once filming begins, but the moment the director says, “Okay,” Jung Da Bin and Yeonwoo tease Byungchan by copying the cute dance he did to cheer on Yang Hye Ji. Yeonwoo then takes the camera to film Yang Hye Ji as she walks off the court after being hit by the ball, and Yang Hye Ji plays along by breaking into a silly dance. After his scene, Byungchan also joins in on the impromptu dance party.
Byungchan wraps up the video by thanking VICTON’s fans ALICE for sending a coffee truck to the set. He says, “Thanks to the coffee truck you sent, the other actors, the staff, and I are having a refreshing and enjoyable time. I’ll definitely work hard to repay you for everything! Please look forward to it. I love you!” He tells Yang Hye Ji to hurry up and thank them as well, so she holds up her hands to make a heart and smiles as she says, “I love you! I really enjoyed it. You’re the best!”
