3 Reasons To Look Forward To The Premiere Of

JTBC’s newest drama “Run On” starring Shin Se Kyung and Im Siwan has shared three points to look forward to ahead of the premiere!

“Run On” is about people trying to connect with each other in their own languages after having lived in different worlds and at different paces. Im Siwan will star as Ki Sun Kyum, a former track and field athlete who retires after a life-changing event and becomes a sports agent. Shin Se Kyung will star as Oh Mi Joo, an adventurous foreign film translator.

Here are three points to look forward to in this upcoming romance drama!

1. The couple’s awe-inspiring chemistry

Ever since they were cast, Im Siwan and Shin Se Kyung have been in the spotlight for their adorable chemistry, even getting “scolded” by staff for being too cute. The two stars are already said to be perfectly in sync while reflecting the romance between their characters. Viewers can look forward to watching how their partnership develops, their growing confidence in one another, and their perfect romantic chemistry.

2. Amazing production

The production and direction of “Run On” has been garnering interest since the release of the drama’s teasers. The two character’s careers are also reflective of the drama’s concept of “direction.”

This level of detail reflects just how much work was put into ensuring that each scene was perfect. The producers commented, “We endlessly think over concerns with love and we work really hard to wittily portray the cute emotional transformation of the characters who are easily swayed and sometimes whining. You’ll be able to properly check out this process in the first episode so please give it lots of love and attention.”

3. Two-sided romance

“Run On” looks at romances between polar-opposite couples. Ki Sun Kyum is a man who only looks forward, while Oh Mi Joo only looks back. Seo Dan Ah (Girls’ Generation‘s Sooyoung) is someone who thinks something can only be done poorly if it isn’t done at all and Lee Young Hwa (Kang Tae Oh) believes the opposite, that it’s impossible for the heart to achieve what the heart wants.

Rather than link the couples in complex ways, these couples set off with a clear love line that will guide their storyline into an even stronger, more close-knit romance.

“Run On” premieres on December 16 at 9 p.m. KST! Watch a teaser here.
