Moon Ga Young's Family Welcomes Cha Eun Woo With Open Arms In "True Beauty"

ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo will be setting foot in Moon Ga Young’s house in “True Beauty”!

tvN’s “True Beauty” is a romantic comedy based on a hit webtoon. Lim Ju Gyeong (Moon Ga Young) is a high school student who uses makeup to hide her bare face and overcome her insecurities about her looks. Entering into her life is Lee Su Ho (Cha Eun Woo), a popular student with his own emotional wounds. Together, they learn how to grow through life’s challenges through love.

In episode 5, Lim Ju Gyeong and Lee Su Ho showed their attraction for each other and gave off romantic vibes. At the same time, Lee Su Ho’s painful past was revealed. Near the end of the episode, Lim Ju Gyeong embraced and comforted Lee Su Ho when he was struggling from the memories of his past. Now that Lim Ju Gyeong and Lee Su Ho have opened up to each other about their secrets, their relationship is expected to change in the upcoming episodes.

tvN shared new stills of Lee Su Ho dining with Lim Ju Gyeong’s family at their house. Lim Ju Gyeong’s mom Hong Hyun Sook (Jang Hye Jin) makes him a ssam (wrap) filled with love and hands it to him as if he were her son-in-law (see top photo). Lim Ju Gyeong’s dad Lim Jae Pil (Park Ho San) is grilling meat and smiling from ear to ear, showing how content he is to have Lee Su Ho at their dinner table. On the other hand, Lim Ju Gyeong looks flustered by the unexpected situation.

The next still stands in stark contrast with the previous ones. The house is in shambles, and Lee Su Ho is being crushed by the weight of Lim Ju Gyeong’s family on top of him. He has an expression of sheer shock on his face as he grasps onto the pillar next to him for dear life. What exactly could be going on?

The reason behind Lee Su Ho’s visit to Lim Ju Gyeong’s home will be revealed in episode 6 of “True Beauty,” which airs at 10:30 p.m. KST on December 24.
