Watch: "True Beauty" Actors Sweetly Praise Each Other While Filming Outdoor Scenes

tvN’s “True Beauty” released a new behind-the-scenes video!

This new making-of video was carried out in the format of a vlog by Kang Min Ah, the actress who plays the friendly and energetic Choi Soo Ah in the drama. She mentions they’re shooting the field trip scene and films various behind-the-scene moments of the cast on set.

Kang Min Ah decides to start a relay of compliments where each actor has to praise another actor. Moon Ga Young is the first one up, and she has to praise Park Yoo Na. Moon Ga Young doesn’t hesitate to say, “There are so many things to compliment about her. First off, she’s very considerate and bright. She has a strong sense of responsibility, too, so she never lets anyone know she’s tired.” Kang Min Ah wonders if she’s praising Park Yoo Na or her character Kang Soo Jin, and Moon Ga Young replies they’re both the same person.

Next, Park Yoo Na praises Hwang In Yeop. First off, she thanks him for taking good care of everyone. Then she praises him for being considerate to everyone and making them laugh a lot.

Kang Min Ah goes to Hwang In Yeop next and gives him the mission of praising Lee Il Joon. Hwang In Yeop comments, “He has such bright energy that you just get happy by being next to him. He always makes the atmosphere brighter. Even now he’s having a good time with everyone over there.”

The final person Kang Min Ah interviews is ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo. Cha Eun Woo wonders who complimented him, but Kang Min Ah refuses to tell him. He covers up the camera and persistently questions who praised him. She doesn’t spill the secret though and gives him the mission of praising Moon Ga Young. Cha Eun Woo says, “She has to go through a lot of difficulties, like showing the sides of herself with and without makeup and doing various action scenes. However, she always does her best, and it motivates me to work harder.”
