Watch: Cha Eun Woo And Moon Ga Young Practice Flipping Each Other Behind The Scenes Of Their “True Beauty” Jiu-Jitsu Date

tvN’s “True Beauty” has released a cute behind-the-scenes clip of ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo and Moon Ga Young filming their jiu-jitsu date!

In the new video, Cha Eun Woo introduces himself to the camera as his character Lee Su Ho, explaining that he is getting ready to film the scene in which Lee Su Ho teaches Lim Ju Gyeong jiu-jitsu on a date.

However, despite initially describing the scene as romantic, he soon gets giddily excited while listing all the martial arts moves he plans on teaching her, such as full-body throws, chokeholds, and twisting an opponent’s joints. While getting his makeup done, Cha Eun Woo also reveals with an embarrassed smile that he accidentally spilled some of the stew he had for dinner on his white uniform.

When Moon Ga Young arrives on set, she jokes that she expects to get into a “messy brawl” with Cha Eun Woo, who responds by playfully pretending to throw her over his shoulder as soon as he sees her. Moon Ga Young laughs, “I expected this… look, he’s so excited.” When Cha Eun Woo asks if she’s fully rested, she excitedly replies, “Yep. Bring it on.”

After running through their lines together, the two co-stars get a brief jiu-jitsu lesson from an expert, who demonstrates the various moves they’ll be performing in the scene. When Cha Eun Woo practices lifting Moon Ga Young onto his back, she asks him, “Am I heavy?” Cha Eun Woo teasingly replies, “You’re not light,” leading Moon Ga Young to jokingly pretend to grab him by the hair.

The video goes on to show the two actors joking around with each other between takes, which eventually leads to bickering over whether Cha Eun Woo is the better teacher or Moon Ga Young is the better student. Moon Ga Young then asks with a laugh, “I heard that in order to throw me over your shoulder today, you ate a hearty meal of stew before coming [to the set].” Cha Eun Woo jokingly replies, “No, [I wanted to do] a full-body throw. No wait, a chokehold.” Moon Ga Young tells the camera wryly, “He seemed particularly excited today.”

Later on in the clip, Moon Ga Young informs Cha Eun Woo with a devilish grin that she really wanted to learn how to do a chokehold because “there’s someone I need to try it out on.” When a suspicious Cha Eun Woo asks who it is, she replies, “There’s someone named Lee Dong Min [Cha Eun Woo’s given name]. He’s someone I know personally.”

Cha Eun Woo playfully retorts, “But as far as I know, that person isn’t such an easy opponent. He’s very strong.” Before they return to shooting their scene together, Moon Ga Young jokes back, “No, that’s not true. I personally found him a really easy opponent.”
