Bomin Talks About Golden Child's Comeback, Scores His Acting Skills, And More

Golden Child’s Bomin shared insight into his personality in a new interview with @star1!

On February 1, @star1 magazine released a new pictorial of Bomin exuding both a sweet and charismatic vibe.

Recently, Golden Child made their comeback with the new mini album “YES.” and title track “Burn It.” Bomin, who prepared for the group’s comeback as soon as he wrapped up filming for his drama “18 Again,” shared, “I’m satisfied because I think the song and performance both came out with high quality despite the short preparation period.”

Following the web drama “A-TEEN 2,” Bomin starred in the JBTC drama “18 Again,” solidifying his position as both an idol and an actor. When asked what score he would give himself on his acting, Bomin replied, “50 points. I’m lacking in many aspects, so I still have a long ways to go. I’ll continue to work hard.”

During his school days, Bomin studied extensively to the point that he had prepared to enter a foreign language high school. He explained, “I did a lot of things here and there, from having a tutor and going to supplementary school to attending an academy on writing essays and receiving lessons on discussing news. It’s to the extent that there probably isn’t a private lesson I haven’t taken.”

Although Bomin is the youngest member of Golden Child, the other members consider him to be very mature. Regarding nicknames such as “Maknae [youngest] on top,”  Bomin shared, “I think I got that nickname because I’m not the type to act like a child. I’m the eldest son in my family, so I’m more mature compared to my age.”

Bomin’s full pictorial and interview will be available through the February issue of @star1 magazine.
