Watch: Shin Hye Sun, Kim Jung Hyun, And More Look Back On Filming “Mr. Queen” And Thank Viewers
Following the conclusion of tvN’s “Mr. Queen,” the cast shared their final comments in a touching behind-the-scenes video!
The historical fusion drama is about a man from modern times whose soul is trapped in the body of a queen from the Joseon dynasty. Shin Hye Sun stars as Kim So Yong, the Joseon queen with the soul of Blue House chef Jang Bong Hwan trapped inside her. Kim Jung Hyun plays her husband King Cheoljong, who is a weak and ineffective king on the outside but is stronger and sharper than he appears.
The video begins with Chae Seo Eun, who shared, “I was happy to work together with such a good director, writer, actors, and staff.” B.A.P’s Youngjae then commented, “There’s so many happy moments in my memories, so I think this drama will be one that I will never forget. I want to thank all of the viewers who sent their love to ‘Mr. Queen.'”
Next, Jeon Bae Soo commented, “We filmed for a long time, from summer until the cold winter. We were so happy that everyone tuned in and enjoyed the drama. Thank you for watching ‘Mr. Queen’ until the last episode. Have a happy new year and stay healthy.”
Lee Jae Won shared, “This is a really frustrating and difficult time for everyone, but we were so happy to film knowing that we could give you just a little comforting smile, and we wrapped up filming in good health. Kim In Kwon commented, “Looking back on ‘Mr. Queen’ as it’s coming to an end, it was really enjoyable to film. Now that’s it’s completed it’s really rewarding, and I kept thinking about how I wanted to improve my acting.”
