IU wrote lyrics for each of her songs, including the double title tracks “LILAC” and “Coin,” and she also co-composed “Coin” and her hit pre-release track “Celebrity.” Dean features on the track “Round” (literal title, referring to the type of song), and he also took part in composing and writing lyrics for the track.

Other artists who took part in songwriting include Lee Chan Hyuk, Woogie, Penomeco, Naul, and more.

On February 18 at midnight KST, the artist unveiled a gorgeous teaser image that’s getting fans even more excited for her new release. It was shared along with the text “IU 5th Album Teaser ‘BYLAC.'”

IU recently released her song “Celebrity” on January 27, and the track has swept the charts, achieving perfect all-kills and five music show wins so far.
