APRIL’s Naeun Talks About Her Upcoming Drama, Gratitude Toward Members, And More
In the new pictorial for the March issue of the magazine, Nauen made loveable and cute poses that received praised from the staff on set.
Currently, Naeun is in the middle of filming for her upcoming drama “Taxi Driver,” which is slated to premiere on April 9. The show is based on a webtoon of the same name about a unique taxi service in which the drivers get revenge on behalf of their passengers. Regarding her character, Naeun shared, “I’ve taken on the role of a hacker who intelligently and efficiently solves her problems. I put in a lot of effort because it’s different from the refreshing feeling from my previous roles. I wanted to look easy-going and professional, so I boldly cut my hair short.”
In addition to acting, Naeun has been busy with music and variety show related activities. Regarding her busy schedule, Naeun shared, “It’d be a lie if I said it isn’t difficult. However, the feeling of happiness is greater. I’m trying not to forget to be grateful.”
Furthermore, when asked if she looks up her own name on search engines, Naeun replied, “I unintentionally become conscious about the comments and think about them. I’m trying to hold back these days because I want to make time to love myself a little bit more.”
Finally, Naeun expressed her gratitude to the members of APRIL. She shared, “It’s been seven years since our debut. The members are like family to me, and they’re my refuge. We trust and rely on each other a lot.”
