SHINee has released their own reaction video for their music video “Don’t Call Me“!

“Don’t Call Me” is the title track from the album of the same name, which is SHINee’s seventh studio album and their first comeback in two and a half years.

After a chaotic opening, Minho asked Taemin to confirm that this was his first time seeing the music video. Taemin hesitated before responding and clarified, “It’s the first time we’ve seen the completed version.”

A lot of the reaction video involved Taemin teasing the older members about their costumes or coming up with funny scenarios to fit their actions. Minho observed that they wore a lot of different headpieces for this music video and that the first set had been difficult to dance on because of the slippery floors. (Key added that he had had a lot of hairpins to fix his headpieces in place.) When Taemin and Minho got into an argument about whether Taemin had encouraged Minho to do a certain move, Key cut them off and said, “It’s someone else’s part now!”

At the end, Key continued Taemin’s “theory” that Key had walked into the wrong hotel at the start of the music video and said, “I wonder how the story would have changed if I had walked into the right hotel.” Minho asked, “Why were you so angry at the start of the video?” and Key replied, “Because I walked into the wrong hotel!” Minho shared that he wasn’t 100 percent satisfied with the video because it was their first time in a while doing a powerful concept, and Onew said that their music video filming had been unusual (it took place on Monday and Wednesday).

The SHINee members then interrupted themselves to greet TVXQ’s Yunho, who had been at SHINee’s album release press conference. After this, Taemin said, “For the first time in 14 years, I saw some chemistry between the ’91 line [Minho and Key].” Minho and Key looked confused and Taemin said, “You guys were together in the second verse,” but Key said, “No, that part was cut.” Minho chimed in, “We’ve had chemistry since ‘Love Still Goes On’!”
