BTS Donates

BTS has donated a set of their comfy outfits from the “Life Goes On” music video to charity!

On March 8, Billboard reported that BTS has joined fellow Grammy nominees and more artists in donating items to a Grammy Week auction that will benefit the Grammy Museum and its music education initiatives. The online auction began on March 8 and will end on March 23.

This auction is held in partnership with Charitybuzz, and the Charitybuzz website shows that BTS donated a set of outfits worn by the seven members in their “Life Goes On” MV (see photo above). The video was released last November as the title track to the group’s latest album “BE.”

Other nominees who have donated items or experiences for the auction include Taylor Swift, Post Malone, Ariana Grande, Black Pumas, Billie Eilish, H.E.R., Phoebe Bridgers, and more.

In 2020, BTS donated custom-made microphones used and signed by the members to the Grammy Week auction, where they sold for $83,200. A set of ensembles from their “Dynamite” MV raised $162,500 for MusiCares this January.

BTS’s “Dynamite” is in the running for a Grammy award this year, as it has been nominated in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category. The 63rd Grammy Awards ceremony takes place on March 14, and BTS will also be performing during the show!
