Former AOA Member Choa Talks About How She Changed After Resuming Entertainment Activities

Former AOA Member Choa participated in a pictorial and interview with The Big Issue Korea, which is a magazine sold online and at subway stations to help homeless people become self-sufficient.

The singer posed in both casual and formal attire and especially received praise from the staff members for pulling off a charismatic image in a black suit.

In the interview after the photo shoot, Choa described how she changed after returning to her activities following the end of a long hiatus. She said, “Before, I really wanted to do well in my profession. Every part of me was completely aligned with it.” Then she added, “[Now], I will maintain the balance between being a celebrity and being an individual.”

Through her agency Great M Entertainment, Choa said, “I’ve always been interested in this magazine, so I was the one who suggested participating in it. I will continue to pay attention to charitable work in the future.”

A source from her label added, “After appearing in tvN’s ‘On and Off,’ she received many offers to be in commercials and variety shows. Please look forward to her various activities in the future.”

Choa debuted with AOA in 2012 and departed from the group in 2017. She left FNC Entertainment in 2019 after her contract expired and joined Great M Entertainment in August 2020. Since leaving AOA and FNC, Choa has been on an unofficial hiatus from the industry, but she began her new start by releasing an OST for the drama “To All the Guys Who Loved Me.”
