Watch: “Kingdom” Contestants Look Back On Memories With Their Most-Watched Performance Clips

The contestants of “Kingdom” took a trip down memory lane!

Mnet’s “Kingdom” is the male version of the hit 2019 idol competition show “Queendom.” THE BOYZ, who won the preliminary season “Road to Kingdom” (in which seven male groups competed for a spot on “Kingdom”), will be going up against Stray KidsATEEZBTOBiKON, and SF9.

In the clip, the groups look back on their top 3 most viewed Mnet performance videos. After watching the third place video, the groups ponder on what might be second place. THE BOYZ’s Q asks, “If [Reveal] is third, what could be second?” Stray Kids’ Changbin announces, “Second place will be ‘Back Door,'” to which Bang Chan replies, “No way!”

The producers then reveal the second place performances to be “WONDERLAND” by ATEEZ, “Missing You” by BTOB, “Victory Song” by Stray Kids at 2020 MAMA, “Mamma Mia” by SF9, “Checkmate” by THE BOYZ on “Road to Kingdom,” and “Apology” by iKON.

As they watch their performance clip, ATEEZ expresses amazement and reveals that they filmed for six hours. While watching their MAMA performance, Stray Kids’s Changbin says, “Since Mnet creates such cool stages for us, our performance really comes alive.”

During their “Checkmate” performance, THE BOYZ’s Sunwoo falls backwards as part of the choreography. He makes everyone laugh as he comments, “My grandma screamed [watching this].” As soon as the “Mamma Mia” clip starts to play, SF9’s Youngbin shakes his head and asks, “Can we skip over this?” and the group members joke around teasing him.

iKON’s Junhoe and Chan correctly guess “Apology” as the second place performance and Jinhwan asks, “Junhoe, isn’t this your favorite song?” Junhoe confirms this and adds, “It’s because the first part is mine.” BTOB quietly enjoy their performance of “Missing You” as Peniel comments about his hair being gone once again. They comment on truly missing these times and their fans and then start singing along.

Watch the full video below with English subtitles and stay tuned for the next clip where the groups will watch their most viewed performance!
