Watch: Highlight Performs New Song And Past Hits + Yang Yoseob Covers IU's 'Through The Night' + Lee Gikwang Shares Dance Medley

Highlight showed their skills and experience in performing once again on JTBC’s “Ask Us Anything”!

Highlight’s Yoon Doojoon, Yang Yoseob, Lee Gikwang, and Son Dongwoon appeared as guests on the April 24 episode of the variety show. The group is gearing up for their first comeback since all the members were discharged from the military.

Yang Yoseob, who took eight consecutive wins on MBC’s “The King of Mask Singer” last year, treated the cast to a medley of some of the songs he sang as champion on the show. He added that he had not told his members or his parents that he was going to be on the show, but that Lee Gikwang sent him a message after his performance, saying, “You did well.” Lee Gikwang explained, “We’ve been working together for 13 years, so we only need to hear one verse to know it’s him.” Yang Yoseob also shared a beautiful cover of IU’s “Through the Night.”

Highlight also performed to a medley of their past hits, such as “Shock,” “Fiction,” and “Plz Don’t Be Sad.” (“Shock” and “Fiction” were released under their past name of BEAST when the group was still signed under Cube Entertainment. Cube still owns the rights to the name BEAST, so the group changed their name to Highlight after setting up their own agency, Around Us Entertainment.)

Lee Gikwang, who promoted as a solo dance artist before joining BEAST, performed a dance medley that included EXO’s “Growl,” Rain’s “Rainism,” and TVXQ’s “Mirotic.”

Finally, Highlight also shared a sneak peek at their upcoming comeback track “The Blowing”!
