NCT DREAM Achieves Quadruple Crown On Gaon Weekly Charts + Brave Girls And BTS Also Take Top Spots

NCT DREAM has dominated the latest Gaon charts!

On May 20, Gaon Chart announced the weekly chart rankings for May 9-15.

NCT DREAM made a strong entrance at No. 1 on the overall digital chart, download chart, physical album chart, and BGM chart (which tracks the songs that people purchase to use as background music for their blogs and KakaoTalk profiles).

Brave Girls’ “Rollin'” remained first on the streaming chart for the fourth consecutive week, and BTS held onto the top spot of Gaon’s Social Chart 2.0 for the ninth consecutive week.

Digital Charts

With NCT DREAM’s “Hot Sauce” entering at No. 1, Brave Girls’ “Rollin,'” Justin Bieber’s “Peaches,” IU’s “LILAC,” and Brave Girls’ “We Ride” each dropped one spot from last week on the overall digital chart.

The top five on the streaming chart remain the same as last week, with “Rollin'” at No. 1, “Peaches” at No. 2,” “LILAC” at No. 3,” “We Ride” at No. 4, and IU’s “Celebrity” at No. 5.

New releases dominated the download chart. With “Hot Sauce” at the top, Oh My Girl’s “Dun Dun Dance” entered at No. 2, while Kang Daniel’s “Outerspace” entered at No. 3. Baekhyun’s “Bambi” reentered at No. 4, while ONEUS’s “BLACK MIRROR” debuted at No. 5.

Album Chart

NCT DREAM’s “Hot Sauce,” ONEUS’s “BINARY CODE,” and Oh My Girl’s “Dear OHMYGIRL” took the top three spots on the album chart recording physical album shipments. NCT’s “NCT 2018 EMPATHY” and NCT DREAM’s “We Boom” round out the top five.

Social Chart

The top five are the same as last week for this week’s Social Chart 2.0, with BTS and BLACKPINK holding onto the top spots. Trot singers Lim Young Woong and Kim Ho Joong took No. 3 and No. 4, respectively, while TWICE placed No. 5.
