BLACKPINK’s Rosé Sets New Spotify Record As “On The Ground” Hits 100 Million Streams
BLACKPINK’s Rosé has just set a new record on Spotify!
On May 23, YG Entertainment officially announced that Rosé’s solo debut track “On The Ground” had surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify.
“On The Ground,” which took approximately 71 days to reach the milestone, is now the fastest song by any Korean female soloist in Spotify history to hit 100 million streams—and the fastest debut song by any Korean artist ever to achieve the feat.
Back when it was first released in March, “On The Ground” also achieved the highest 24-hour view count of any music video by a Korean soloist in YouTube history, breaking a record (set by PSY’s 2013 hit “Gentleman“) that had remained unbeaten for eight years.
Congratulations to Rosé on another record-breaking achievement!
