Watch: Kim Eui Sung, Cha Ji Yeon, And Pyo Ye Jin Get Fierce For Thrilling Action Scenes On Set Of "Taxi Driver"

SBS’s “Taxi Driver” released a new behind-the-scenes video!

“Taxi Driver” is about a mysterious taxi service that takes revenge on behalf of clients who cannot get justice from the law. Lee Je Hoon stars as Kim Do Gi, a former special forces officer who works for the service, while Esom co-stars as Kang Ha Na, a prosecutor who becomes suspicious of his activities.

In the new making-of video, Cha Ji Yeon talks about her confrontation scene with Kim Eui Sung. She shares, “It’s a tense and thrilling scene.” During the break, Kim Eui Sung jokingly tells the making-of camera not to film him. However, he proceeds to make content for the behind-the-scenes video by exercising on-screen. He explains, “It’s because it’s cold.”

A staff member helps to tie Pyo Ye Jin’s hands for her capture scene, making sure the rope is not too tight for her. Having to kick her captor in order to escape, Pyo Ye Jin runs back after filming the scene to check if the actor is okay after her kick. Later, she shares, “I’m going to tell Do Gi all about this.”

For a different scene of Jang Hyuk Jin getting tortured, the production team stretches out Jang Hyuk Jin’s finger. However, he comments, “Even if you pull it, my finger is too short.”

The actors and staff get surprised when Cha Ji Yeon uses a full swing to bring the hammer down right next to Jang Hyuk Jin’s finger. She comments, “It’s not fun if you hit it [lightly].” Seeing the behind-the-scenes camera, she shares, “If all this goes out, it’ll damage my image.” Kim Eui Sung adds, “It’s over already. I think all of it has come out already.” He continues, “You’ve exchanged your image for popularity.” Practicing her swing multiple times, Cha Ji Yeon shares, “I’m going to hit it as hard as I can so that it’ll look cruel.”

Finally, Kim Eui Sung showcases a “Taxi Driver” branded tumbler for sale. He explains that all the proceeds will go to helping crime victims and their families.
