Song Ji Hyo, Nam Ji Hyun, And Chae Jong Hyeop Await Their Next Customers In Poster For “The Witch’s Diner”
“The Witch’s Diner” is a dark fantasy drama about a witch restaurant that sells food that grants wishes in exchange for the customers’ souls.
After revealing individual character posters of the witch Hee Ra (Song Ji Hyo), partner Jin (Nam Ji Hyun), and part-timer Gil Yong (Chae Jong Hyeop), the drama has shared a “pre-opening” teaser poster of the trio.
Hee Ra looks outside the restaurant with a mysterious expression, seemingly looking for the next customer to ask her to grant their wish in exchange for their soul. Jin, who unwillingly became Hee Ra’s business partner after trying her food, quietly stares at Hee Ra. Though she is working with Hee Ra, her suspicion towards Hee Ra is clearly written on her face. Lastly, the hard-working part-timer Gil Yong lights up the room with his innocent, bright smile.
The text at the top of the poster reads, “Come on in, we’ll grant your wish,” highlighting the diner’s mystical atmosphere. It’s unclear what exactly is served at the diner and why they are granting people’s wishes, but the captivating mystique of the restaurant will make any passerby want to stop by.
Although the three individuals run the restaurant together, it is evident that they all have different goals and motives. Curiosity mounts as to what kinds of customers will be visiting the restaurant and how all of the characters will be intertwined.
“The Witch’s Diner” will be released on July 16 and will be available on Viki.
