Watch: "Amazing Saturday" Previews Playfully Awkward Reunion Between Former "We Got Married" Partners Jung Hyung Don And Taeyeon

tvN’s “Amazing Saturday” has previewed an “awkward” reunion between a former “married” couple.

Next week’s guests on the show will be Jung Hyung Don and Defconn, who have worked together for years as a musical duo and co-hosts of various shows. This time, they’ve made a comeback as the alter ego characters “Jack & Dmitri.”

Shin Dong Yup brings up the fact that Jung Hyung Don (Jack) and Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon starred together as a TV couple on the reality show “We Got Married” in 2009. (Jung Hyung Don left the show when it was revealed that he had a girlfriend, who is now his wife.) Taeyeon sighs heavily and says, “At that time… [we were] immature.” Jung Hyung Don jokingly pretends to cling to their past memories and says, “I always feel apologetic to Jelly.” Taeyeon exclaims, “Don’t use those nicknames!” (They called each other “pudding” and “jelly” on the show.) He continues to ask her for help during the show, playfully calling her “Honey,” and even shows her his answer.

Meanwhile, Defconn (Dmitri) causes the show’s audio director confusion with his constant stream of chatter. This also stresses out SHINee’s Key, who is seated between him and Kim Dong Hyun, who is also asking him questions. Taeyeon and P.O get into a battle over an answer and Jung Hyung Don picks Jelly’s side. Taeyeon appreciates this and refers to him as “Pudding” one more time.

This episode of “Amazing Saturday” will air on July 10 at 7:40 p.m. KST.
