Song Joong Ki Resumes Filming His New Movie After Self-Quarantine

Song Joong Ki has resumed filming his upcoming movie “Bogotá”!

Earlier this month, Song Joong Ki’s agency announced that the actor had gone into self-quarantine after an acquaintance of his tested positive for COVID-19. While Song Joong Ki himself tested negative for the virus, he remained in isolation for two weeks as a precautionary measure.

On July 14, the producers of “Bogotá” and Song Joong Ki’s agency HISTORY D&C confirmed that the actor’s self-quarantine had ended and that he had returned to filming. A representative of his agency stated, “Actor Soog Joong Ki resumed filming the movie ‘Bogotá’ starting on July 13.”

“Bogotá,” which also stars Lee Hee Joon and Kwon Hae Hyo, is an upcoming crime thriller set in 1990s Colombia. Although the movie initially began filming on location in Colombia in January of last year, the COVID-19 pandemic forced the cast and crew to halt filming and return to Korea in March 2020. The movie recently recommenced filming in Korea.
