Watch: "Running Man" Mentions Lee Kwang Soo As The Unseen "Criminal" In Upcoming Race In Preview

Lee Kwang Soo had an amusing cameo in the preview for next week’s episode of SBS’s “Running Man.”

The preview begins with the cast posing as comedians having a comedians’ association meeting. Yoo Jae Suk is the first-round member and leader of the association, and guest Lee Yong Jin appears as a third-round member of the association. The association also includes “new comedians” Song Ji Hyo, Kim Jong Kook, Jun So Min, and HaHa. (Ji Suk Jin, Yoo Jae Suk, Yang Se Chan, and Lee Yong Jin are actually comedians in real life, while the others started out as musicians or actors.)

Yoo Jae Suk is asking the members to pay up their association fees (to their many complaints) when a news broadcast suddenly begins to play. On the “news,” it is reported that “comedian” Lee Kwang Soo (it is a long-running “Running Man” joke that Lee Kwang Soo’s “real job” is a comedian instead of an actor) had stolen the association’s funds before running away. The cast immediately joke that Lee Kwang Soo’s farewell gifts to the cast must have been paid for with the “stolen” funds.

Lee Kwang Soo does not actually appear in the preview, although he has been mentioned (and called) several times since his departure from the show due to health issues.
