Lee Byung Hun To Take Part In Producing American Romance Film + Also In Discussion To Star In It
Lee Byung Hun will be producing a new Hollywood movie!
On July 19 (local time), The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Lee Byung Hun would be producing and starring in a new Netflix film based on the romance novel “I Believe In A Thing Called Love” by Maurene Goo. The novel tells the story of a high school senior named Desi Lee who tries to find love with guidance from Korean dramas. Lee Byung Hun will reportedly play Desi Lee’s dad.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film will be produced by Mary Lee of American production company A-Major Media, BH Entertainment’s Charles Pak, and Lee Byung Hun, while Maurene Goo will be the executive producer. Yulin Kuang will be writing the script.
Following the report, BH Entertainment clarified, “It is true that actor Lee Byung Hun is participating in producing the film. He is considering appearing [in the film].”
