BTS Takes Six Crowns On Gaon Weekly Charts + MSG Wannabe (M.O.M) Earns Double Crown
Gaon Chart has revealed its chart rankings for the week of July 11 to July 17.
After taking a triple crown on the charts last week, BTS has now achieved a sextuple (six) crown, topping six different charts on Gaon this week. This includes the album chart, download chart, BGM chart (which tracks the songs that people purchase to use as background music for their blogs and KakaoTalk profiles), bell (ringtone) chart, ring (ringback tone) chart, and the Social Chart 2.0. “Permission to Dance” topped the download, BGM, bell, and ring charts, while the “Butter” CD topped the album chart.
MSG Wannabe’s unit M.O.M stayed strong on the charts this week, topping the digital and streaming charts and earning a double crown.

Album Chart
BTS’s CD version of “Butter” topped the physical album chart for a second consecutive week, while NCT DREAM’s “Hello Future” (Kit Ver.) rose to No. 2. The original version of “Hello Future” maintained its No. 4 rank from last week, while DAY6 (Even of Day)’s “Right Through Me” rose to No. 3. The fifth spot was taken by ENHYPEN’s “Border: Carnival.”
Digital Chart
MSG Wannabe (M.O.M)’s “Foolish Love” held on to the top spot on the digital chart for a third straight week, while BTS’s “Permission to Dance” rose to No. 2. aespa’s “Next Level” dropped to No. 3, while Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon’s “Weekend” and Lee Mujin’s “Traffic Light” rose to No. 4 and No. 5 respectively.
Streaming Chart
“Foolish Love” and “Next Level” held on to their No. 1 and No. 2 spots from last week, while “Permission to Dance” overtook “Butter” for the No. 3 spot. “Butter” stayed strong at No. 4, and “Traffic Light” came in at No. 5.
Download Chart
The download chart for the week of July 11 to July 17 looks similar to last week’s chart, albeit in a different order. “Permission to Dance” topped the download chart for a second consecutive week, and Lim Young Woong’s “Trust In Me” rose from No. 5 to No. 2. Taeyeon’s “Weekend” dropped to No. 3, and MSG Wannabe (M.O.M)’s “Foolish Love” dropped to No. 4. MSG Wannabe’s “I Love You,” which is sung by the full group, shot up the rankings to take the No. 5 spot this week.
Social Chart
The social chart also looks similar to last week, with BTS at No. 1 for the 18th consecutive week and BLACKPINK guarding their position at No. 2. Trot singers Lim Young Woong and Kim Ho Joong maintained their positions at No. 3 and No. 4 respectively, while Block B rose to take the No. 5 spot.
