BTS, TXT, BLACKPINK, SEVENTEEN, And TWICE Claim Top Spots On Billboard's World Albums Chart
Billboard has released its World Albums chart for the week ending on July 31!
BTS landed a total of seven albums in the top 15 this week. “Map of the Soul: 7” spent its 33rd non-consecutive week at the top of the chart, extending its own record as the BTS album that has spent the most weeks at No. 1.
Additionally, BTS’s “BE” charted at No. 3, followed by “Map of the Soul: Persona” at No. 8, “Love Yourself: Tear” at No. 9, “Love Yourself: Her” at No. 10, “Love Yourself: Answer” at No. 12, and “Skool Luv Affair” at No. 14.
Meanwhile, TXT’s “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” ranked No. 5 in its eighth week on the chart. The album also spent its seventh consecutive week on the Billboard 200, where it continued to extend its own record as the longest-charting K-pop album of the year.
BLACKPINK’s “THE ALBUM” held onto its spot at No. 6 in its 42nd week on the chart, while SEVENTEEN’s “Your Choice” came in at No. 11 in its fifth.
Finally, TWICE’s “Taste of Love” stayed strong at No. 13 in its sixth week on the chart.
