BTS And MSG Wannabe (M.O.M) Earn Consecutive Double Crowns On Gaon Weekly Charts

Gaon Chart has revealed its chart rankings for the week of July 18 to July 24.

For the fourth consecutive week, MSG Wannabe’s sub-unit M.O.M’s “Foolish Love” has taken No. 1 on the digital chart and streaming charts. “Foolish Love” also reached No. 1 this week on the bell (ringtone) chart. For the third consecutive week, BTS’s “Butter” has led the album chart at No. 1. BTS also led the Social Chart 2.0 for the 19th consecutive week.

Album Chart

BTS’s CD version of “Butter” took No. 1 on the physical album chart for its third straight week. NCT DREAM’s two versions of “Hello Future” held strong at No. 2 and No. 3, and 2PM’s “MUST” and SF9’s “Turn Over” rounded out the top five at No. 4 and No. 5. 

Digital Chart

For the fourth straight week, MSG Wannabe (M.O.M)’s “Foolish Love” took No. 1 on the digital chart. This week’s digital chart is similar to last week, with BTS’s “Permission to Dance” and aespa’s “Next Level” holding at No. 2 and No. 3. Lee Mujin’s “Traffic Light” and Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon’s “Weekend” switched places at No. 4 and No. 5.

Streaming Chart

This week’s streaming chart features the same contenders as last week, albeit in a different order. “Foolish Love” and “Next Level” continued their strong hold on the No. 1 and No. 2 spots, while “Traffic Light” rose two places to No. 3. BTS rounded out the top five with “Permission to Dance” and “Butter” at No. 4 and No. 5.

Lim Young Woong’s “Trust In Me,” which was originally released in April 2020, rose back up the charts this summer to take the No. 1 spot this week on the download chart. “Permission to Dance” dropped to No. 2 and the remaining songs are new entries on the top five: Jo Jung Suk’s “I Like You” (OST for “Hospital Playlist 2”) at No. 3, SG Wannabe’s “You’re the Best of Me” at No. 4, and Jang Beom June’s “Confession” at No. 5.

Social Chart 2.0

BTS and BLACKPINK continued their long reign at No. 1 and No. 2 on the social chart as TWICE rose a few rankings to take the No. 3 spot. Trot singers Kim Ho Joong and Lim Young Woong rounded out the top five at No. 4 and No. 5.
