SHINee Tops Oricon's Weekly Album Chart With "SUPERSTAR"
SHINee’s latest Japanese release continues to sweep the charts!
On July 28, SHINee released their Japanese mini album “SUPERSTAR,” which contains new Japanese tracks “SUPERSTAR,” “Closer,” and “SEASONS,” as well as “Atlantis” and the Japanese version of “Don’t Call Me.”
After the album took the No. 1 spot on Oricon’s daily album chart for July 27, “SUPERSTAR” also placed No. 1 on Oricon’s weekly album chart.
“SUPERSTAR” has become their fourth album to snag No. 1 on Oricon’s weekly chart. With their third Japanese studio album “I’m Your Boy” in 2014, their fourth Japanese studio album “DxDxD” in 2016, their first Japanese compilation album “The Best From Now On” in 2018, and now “SUPERSTAR,” SHINee has achieved No. 1 on the weekly album chart for a total of four times—a feat that highlights their unchanging popularity.
Congratulations to SHINee on their achievement!
