Watch: Elton John Sings BTS's "Permission To Dance" In Response To RM's Twitter Shout-Out
Elton John has shared a video of himself singing BTS’s “Permission to Dance“!
On August 6, BTS took to Twitter to post a clip of RM lip-syncing to his line from the start of “Permission to Dance,” which includes a reference to the iconic English artist. Tagging Elton John’s Twitter account, they added the lyrics in the caption: “When it all seems like it’s wrong Just sing along to [Elton John].”
In response, Elton John posted a video of himself singing the next line of the song—”When the nights get colder, And the rhythms got you falling behind”—and tagged BTS. He adds in the clip, “Thanks, BTS. Love to the ARMY [BTS’s official fan club].”

This isn’t the first time that Elton John has shown love for “Permission to Dance”—he previously gave BTS a fun shout-out on Twitter that riffed off the song’s lyrics last month.
