Lee Mujin, THE BOYZ, And BTS Top Weekly Gaon Charts

Gaon has revealed its chart rankings for the week of August 8 to August 14.

Album Chart

The album chart for the week of August 8 to 14 features all new entries in the top five. THE BOYZ rises to the top with their new mini album, “THRILL-ING,” followed by ONF’s summer pop-up album “POPPING.” D.O.’s “Empathy,” the only album not debuting on the chart this week for the first time, rose three places to take No. 3. Park Ji Hoon’s “My Collection” and Sunmi’s “1/6” debuted at No. 4 and No. 5 respectively.

Digital Chart

Unlike the album chart, the digital chart for the week of August 8 to 14 looks similar to last week’s chart, albeit in a new order. Lee Mujin’s “Traffic Light” rises to the No. 1 position as AKMU’s “NAKKA” (with IU) drops to No. 2 and MSG Wannabe (M.O.M)’s “Foolish Love” drops to No. 3. aespa’s “Next Level” rises one place to No. 4 and Taeyeon’s “Weekend” rises again to No. 5, rounding out the top five.

Streaming Chart

This week’s streaming and digital charts featured the same top five songs, though in a different order. Lee Mujin’s “Traffic Light” tops the streaming chart as well, while MSG Wannabe (M.O.M)’s “Foolish Love” drops to No. 2. AKMU and IU’s “NAKKA” and aespa’s “Next Level” held at No. 3 and No. 4 respectively from last week, while Taeyeon’s “Weekend” took No. 5 on this chart as well.

With the exception of “NAKKA,” which dropped to No. 5, this week’s download chart also features several new entries in the top five. “THRILL RIDE,” the title track from THE BOYZ’s “THRILL-ING,” debuted at No. 1, while ONF followed close behind with “Popping.” Ha Sung Woon’s new track, “Strawberry Gum (feat. Don Mills),” charted at No. 3, followed by fellow Wanna One member Park Ji Hoon’s “Gallery” at No. 4.

Social Chart

Just like last week, BTS, BLACKPINK, and TWICE took the No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3 positions on this week’s social chart. Trot singer Lim Young Woong also held at No. 4, and fellow trot singer Kim Ho Joong rose to join him this week at No. 5.
