Red Velvet, TXT, Lee Mujin, And BTS Top Weekly Gaon Charts

Gaon has released its chart rankings for the week of August 15 to August 21.

Album Chart

With the exception of THE BOYZ’s “THRILL-ING,” the album chart for the week of August 15 to 21 features all new entries in the top five. TXT’s “The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE” took the top spot this week, with Red Velvet’s “Queendom” coming in at second. CRAVITY’s “The Awakening: Written in the Stars,” CIX’s “Prologue: Be OK,” and THE BOYZ’s “THRILL-ING” followed at No. 3, No. 4, and No. 5 respectively.

Digital Chart

The digital chart for the week of August 15 to 21 features the same songs as last week in a different order. Lee Mujin’s “Traffic Light” holds on to its top spot, while MSG Wannabe (M.O.M)’s “Foolish Love” and AKMU’s “NAKKA” (with IU) switch places this week at No. 2 and No. 3. aespa’s “Next Level” and Taeyeon’s “Weekend” maintained their positions at No. 4 and No. 5.

Streaming Chart

The streaming chart for this week was exactly the same as the digital chart for this week. It is also exactly the same as last week’s streaming chart.

Download Chart

Once again, THE BOYZ is the only holdover on the download chart from last week. Their “THRILL RIDE” dropped from No. 1 to No. 3 this week, while Red Velvet’s “Queendom” and TXT’s “LO$ER=LO♡ER” debuted at No. 1 and No. 2. Somi’s “DUMB DUMB” and SEVENTEEN’s “Hospital Playlist 2” OST, “Is It Still Beautiful,” both rose five places this week to round out the top five.

Social Chart

This week’s social chart is the exact same as last week, with BTS at No. 1, BLACKPINK at No. 2, TWICE at No. 3, and trot singers Lim Young Woong and Kim Ho Joong at No. 4 and No. 5.
