CRAVITY Sets Personal Record For 1st-Week Album Sales By Breaking Past 100,000 For First Time

CRAVITY has achieved a new level of success with their latest comeback!

On August 19, CRAVITY released their first full-length album, “THE AWAKENING: Written in the Stars.” According to Hanteo Chart, the album sold 109,123 units in its first week of release.

This breaks CRAVITY’s previous first-week sales record of 82,254 units, which it recorded for the mini album “SEASON 2 HIDEOUT: THE NEW DAY WE STEP INTO.” The new record is also CRAVITY’s first time breaking past 100,000 units in first-week album sales.

“THE AWAKENING: Written in the Stars” also ranked in the top of iTunes Album Charts in several countries, including Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam. The music video for their title track, “Gas Pedal,” surpassed 10 million views within a week of its release.

“THE AWAKENING: Written in the Stars” also marks a new phase for the group after ending their “HIDEOUT” album series.
