Watch: Kim Min Jae And Park Gyu Young Get Close Despite Their Extreme Differences In

KBS’s new drama “Dali and Cocky Prince” has released a new preview!

“Dali and Cocky Prince” is an upcoming romantic comedy starring Kim Min Jae as Jin Mu Hak, a man who lacks schooling and book smarts but is extremely resourceful and talented at making a living, and Park Gyu Young as Kim Dal Li, a woman who is intellectually polished and comes from an elite background but doesn’t know how to take care of herself.

The preview begins with both Jin Mu Hak and Kim Dal Li describing their relationship as strange and unusual. Kim Dal Li has a flashback to when they were both kicked out of a fancy party, much to her embarrassment. The two soon get into an argument about what is more important, art for its own sake or art as monetary value. Later, Kim Dal Li loosens up and enjoys a pot of gamja-tang (spicy pork bone stew) at home.

Kim Dal Li is desperate to keep and protect her art museum and Jin Mu Hak is soon taken with her earnestness toward this goal. He scolds himself in the mirror, “She’s in debt to you! She’s just a debtor!” Kim Dal Li notices that he keeps hanging around her, but he insists that he’s only worried about his investment. However, he gets jealous when Tae Jin (Kwon Yul) shows interest in Kim Dal Li, while she becomes obsessed with Jin Mu Hak’s oddball friendship with Chak Hee (Yeonwoo).

As Jin Mu Hak and Kim Dal Li start to soften toward each other, Kim Dal Li reveals that her attachment to her museum is because of her father and asks him, “How can I sell my father?” Later, she is threatened by a violent attacker and although she stays calm in the face of danger, he protects her and says in voice-over, “Do you know how dangerous the world is? Let’s go forward, since we’ve already come all this way together,” hinting at their burgeoning partnership.
