BLACKPINK To Participate In "Dear Earth" Campaign Event

On October 23 (local time), BLACKPINK will be participating in the YouTube Originals special event  “Dear Earth.”

“Dear Earth” is a campaign that is centered around climate change. World-class leaders, including Pope Francis, former U.S. President Barack Obama, and Google/Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai, will attend the event. Billie Eilish, Anitta, Jaden Smith and more will be featured as well.

BLACKPINK is the only K-pop artist to be part of the campaign, and as special speakers, they will deliver a meaningful message aimed at improving awareness of climate change to fans around the world. In addition, they will put on a spectacular performance.

Recently, BLACKPINK has been selected to be a Sustainable Development Goals advocate for the UN, and the group was also appointed advocates for the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) earlier this year.
