THE BOYZ Talks About Achieving Their 1st Music Show Win On Public Network, Their Unwavering Faith In The Group, & More

In a new interview and pictorial for The Star magazine, THE BOYZ opened up about their success during their latest promotions!

THE BOYZ recently made a successful comeback with the mini album “THRILL-ING,” soaring to new heights and breaking personal sales records. The group also achieved their first music show win on a public broadcast network (KBS, MBC, or SBS) with their title track “THRILL RIDE,” which claimed No. 1 trophies on both KBS’s “Music Bank” and MBC’s “Music Core.”

After posing for the cover of the magazine’s October issue, the members of THE BOYZ commented, “While we were promoting our album, the summer has already flown by. Because we received more love than what we gave, it felt both refreshing and warm.”

“To think that we finally achieved our first music show win on a public broadcast network, which is something we’d only ever dreamed of—we were so happy, proud, and overjoyed,” they shared. “We wanted to give our fans a gift, but it feels like we ended up receiving an even bigger gift instead.”

On their secret to maintaining their unity and close friendship despite having so many members in the group, THE BOYZ remarked, “Conversation is always best. Since we’re always together, we naturally understand one another.”

They humbly went on to reveal, “I think all of this was possible because we strangely had this unwavering faith from the very beginning that we would make it.”

Looking back on their four-year career as idols, the members shared, “There was some trial and error, but I think we’ve walked a path without any regrets. We’re really happy and satisfied.”

“Because we know that promoting as an idol is not an opportunity that is given to everyone, it’s all the more precious to us,” they continued. “While things may not be easy in the future either, we will work hard to try to repay the love that we receive.”

Finally, when asked to describe what THE BOYZ meant to them, Hyunjae replied, “To me, our group is my second life.”

Meanwhile, Kevin responded, “We are forever. Even as we get older, I want us to keep our identity as THE BOYZ, of being pure-hearted like children.”

THE BOYZ’s full interview and pictorial is available in the October issue of The Star magazine.
