Kim Hye Yoon Calls Out 2PM's Taecyeon For His Suspicious Behavior In "Secret Royal Inspector & Joy"

tvN’s upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama “Secret Royal Inspector & Joy” has shared new stills ahead of its premiere!

“Secret Royal Inspector & Joy” is a historical comedy drama starring Taecyeon as Ra Yi Eon, a young gourmand who is appointed a secret royal inspector against his will. Kim Hye Yoon co-stars as Kim Jo Yi, a divorced woman searching for happiness who ends up joining forces with him as he travels undercover to local provinces to uncover corruption.

The newly released stills capture the comedic first meeting between Ra Yi Eon and Kim Jo Yi. Ra Yi Eon is no longer dressed in silk robes, but he has changed into ragged clothing in order to disguise himself for his new job. His dignity is nowhere to be seen as he lurks around Bo Ri’s (Chae Won Bin’s) home with a wooden spoon in his hand. Kim Jo Yi, who spots him snooping around her friend’s home, doesn’t hesitate to scold him for his dodgy behavior.

Other photos show Ra Yi Eon getting ready for a counterattack. Forgetting his shabby appearance, he confronts Kim Jo Yi with squared shoulders. His blazing eyes hint that they’ll engage in a fierce war of nerves. Meanwhile, his servants Yook Chil (Min Jin Woong) and Goo Pal (Park Gang Sub) are watching their little spew dispute from a safe distance.

The drama’s production team hinted that Ra Yi Eon and Kim Jo Yi will have a very interesting first meeting, saying, “You can look forward to the quarrelsome chemistry and amazing comedy potential of the two very different people. Please watch the tumultuous growth of the two characters who will change through each other.”

“Secret Royal Inspector & Joy” premieres on November 8 at 10:30 p.m. KST and will be available on Viki.
