IVE Achieves 2nd-Highest 1st-Week Sales Of Any Girl Group Debut Album In Hanteo History

Starship Entertainment’s new girl group IVE is off to an impressive start!

Last week, IVE—a new six-member girl group including former IZ*ONE members Jang Won Young and An Yu Jin—made their highly-anticipated debut with the single album “ELEVEN.”

On December 8, Hanteo Chart officially announced that the album had sold a total of 152,229 copies in the first week of its release (December 1 to 7), marking an auspicious start for the rookie girl group.

Not only did IVE achieve the highest first-week sales of any artist to debut in 2021, but they also recorded the second-highest first-week sales of any girl group debut album in Hanteo history (bested only by aespa).

IVE is also only the third girl group ever to surpass 100,000 first-week sales with their debut album, following BLACKPINK (102,001 copies) and aespa (276,877 copies).
