Watch: Lee Hyori Shares A Glimpse Of Her Seoul Life In Preview For PD Kim Tae Ho's New Variety Show

Producing director (PD) Kim Tae Ho’s upcoming variety show “Seoul Check-In” (literal title) starring Lee Hyo Ri has released a preview clip!

The program is a TVING original reality show that will follow Lee Hyori’s life in Seoul. As Lee Hyori has lived on Jeju Island for nine years, the show will depict where the star sleeps, who she meets, and where she goes after finishing her promotional activities in Seoul. Since Lee Hyori is so used to being surrounded by nature on Jeju Island, she will be able to showcase a completely different lifestyle.

“Seoul Check-In” premiered on January 29 at 12 p.m., and at the same time, TVING shared a preview to amp up the excitement for what fans could look forward to in the show.

The clip portrays Lee Hyori’s double life as the star Lee Hyori and the normal woman Lee Hyori. As a star, Lee Hyori attends various events in glamorous outfits, and the variety show even depicts the behind-the-scenes footage of the 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards.

Lee Hyori is also spotted enjoying Seoul life with her close friends Uhm Jung Hwa, Kim Wan Sun, BoA, and MAMAMOO’s Hwasa. The caption states, “the five legendary [singers] have gathered in one spot.”

BoA commented that she’s happy to be part of the maknae (youngest) line. In response, Uhm Jung Hwa calls her “baby,” and BoA makes a shy attempt to act cute. While eating, Lee Hyori suddenly asks Uhm Jung Hwa, “Unnie, are you crying again?” Kim Wan Sun looks flustered as she asks, “Why are you crying?” Everyone laughs as Uhm Jung Hwa remarks, “I don’t know why I’m crying either.” At the end of the clip, Lee Hyori admits, “Seoul is really nice.”
