Watch: Rain, Kim Bum, And Uee Show Off Great Chemistry + EXID’s Hani Joins Her Brother On Set Of “Ghost Doctor”

The latest behind-the-scenes clip of “Ghost Doctor” features a close look at the cast’s chemistry!

Helmed by “Heirs” director Boo Sung Chul, “Ghost Doctor” is a fantasy medical drama about two doctors who could not be more different in terms of their backgrounds, skills, or personalities, but who end up combining bodies and spirits. Rain stars as genius thoracic surgeon Cha Young Min, while Kim Bum plays silver-spoon resident Go Seung Tak. Apink‘s Son Naeun plays emergency room intern Oh Soo Jung and Uee plays neurosurgeon Jang Se Jin, who happens to be Cha Young Min’s ex-girlfriend.

The clip starts with Kim Bum and Son Naeun rehearsing their greeting. Ahn Tae Hwan comments, “You’re Young Min [right now], right?” Kim Bum nods and jokes, “I think I have to get paid double.”

Later, Kim Bum and Rain film various scenes together that feature many long lines. As they rehearse, Rain shows his consideration for Kim Bum as he makes sure he’s okay when he accidentally hits his hand and almost knocks over a picture frame. Kim Bum’s dedication also shines through as they continue with rehearsals and he proposes detailed ideas to the director.

Afterwards, Kim Bum films his concert date scene with Uee where he acts as Cha Young Min. He shares that it’s hardest to act as Cha Young Min with Uee, explaining, “If I’m interacting with Soo Jung or Tae Hyun (Go Sang Ho), I can just act like [Young Min] hyung, but I’ve never seen how [the character] acted with Se Jin in the past. So that’s hard.”

Their date takes place at the concert of fictional singer Jessica, who is played by EXID’s Hani—the real-life older sister of Ahn Tae Hwan, who plays Go Seung Tak’s friend Kim Jae Won. During filming for her cameo, Ahn Tae Hwan visits the set to adorably act as his sister’s manager for the day. He makes sure to photograph his sister and Hani comments, “He’s good at taking pictures.”

Once she’s done filming, Hani introduces herself and shares, “It was such an honor to be able to appear in the same drama as my younger brother, and it was a very new experience. As the premise [of the drama] is very unique, I could see on set that all the actors were working really hard while filming. I pray that they receive as much love as the hard work they’ve put in. Please show them lots of love!”

At the end, Rain takes over the behind-the-scenes camera and begins to film Uee. The actress randomly confesses, “I love our Young Min and Seung Tak so much.” Afterwards, she goes around collecting autographs from her fellow cast members. Kim Bum jokes, “I really wanted to pull a prank… I wanted to write Michael Jackson in Korean.”
