YG Entertainment Says iKON, TREASURE, And WINNER Members Have Recovered From COVID-19

YG Entertainment has declared its idols recovered from COVID-19.

Last week, several idols at YG Entertainment were diagnosed with COVID-19. iKON’s Chanwoo and TREASURE’s Choi Hyun Suk, Junkyu, and Mashiho were diagnosed on January 27. iKON’s Junhoe and TREASURE’s Yoshi were diagnosed on January 25. WINNER’s Lee Seung Hoon was diagnosed on January 24. iKON’s Jinhwan, Yunhyeong, and Donghyuk were diagnosed on January 23.

On February 3, YG released a statement saying, “WINNER’s Lee Seung Hoon, iKON’s Jinhwan, Yunhyeong, Junhoe, Donghyuk, and Chanwoo, TREASURE’s Choi Hyun Suk, Yoshi, Junkyu, and Mashiho have all been declared completely recovered from COVID-19. They received at-home treatment, and after the disease control authorities judged that they were no longer infectious to other people, their quarantine was dissolved today or at 12 p.m. on February 2, depending on the case. All the other group members displayed no special symptoms during quarantine, and we have confirmed that they are feeling fine.”

The rest of the statement reiterated the agency’s promise to prioritize the health and safety of their artists and staff members and to continue to strictly follow the guidelines and directions of the disease control authorities.

YG concluded, “We are always grateful to the fans who worried about the members as well as the health care workers who are doing their best to overcome COVID-19. Please cheer on the WINNER, iKON, and TREASURE members, who will greet you in good health.”

TREASURE is currently gearing up for their first comeback in over a year with their first EP, “THE SECOND STEP : CHAPTER ONE,” on February 15.
